A Dramatic Crossover Trek in the Himalayas

At 14,000 feet Hampta Pass in Himachal Pradesh falls under those uncommon, sensational pass intersections in the Himalayas. On one side is the rich green valley of Kullu — with timberlands, fields, and blossoms sprouting on your path. On the other is the practically parched, unmistakable scene of Lahaul, with fruitless mountains and basically no vegetation.
Remaining on the highest point of the pass, the thing that’s inevitably coming and behind are two distinct universes. It changes very quickly.
The scene is strikingly like that of Valley of Flowers – a green tight valley ensured by snow-covered mountains – yet there’s a special reward here.
At the point when you get onto the opposite side of the Hampta Pass, you’ll be in wonder taking a gander at the unmistakable difference from what you just left behind. The scene that stretches before you is Spiti Valley, known for its desolate stretches, tough landscape and forget-me-not blue skies.
What rolls out the emotional improvements elevated, much more, is the manner by which exciting the move to Hampta Pass is. For trekkers, crossing the Hampta Pass (even without the view changes) is an incredible story of experience. They will cherish the anxious fervor of moving to the pass over numerous edges, nearly seeming to get to the pass, yet never entirely certain until you arrive
On this trek, you move from one side to the next over a time of 6 days, covering 25 km.
Some Great Things About Hampta Pass
1. The drive from Manali to Jobra
I think that it’s difficult to accept that the vast majority never notice the drive from Manali to Jobra, the headquarters of the trek. It is one of the most delightful mountain drives I’ve done. I was stuck to the window when we took the drive (tip: sit on the left). The earth track simply hurdles up the mountain face in a bewildering series of hair clip twists.
I adored how in an hour the woods changed, from apple plantations to deodar timberlands to oaks. From the warmth of Manali it became cooler and afterward truly cold! I would never have imagined such a street existed directly behind Manali. I have passed Manali multiple times and never spotted it!
2. The little Forest segment
It is a little backwoods, yet it is an uncommon one on the Hampta Pass trek. It comes directly on the principal day of the trek — it completely entranced me! Interestingly I saw oaks, birch and maple trees together — I had not seen such a consistent transaction between these trees on my different treks. It was interesting and it stays in my memory even presently.
