All that is currently know about Diablo 2 Resurrected

Earlier this year, Blizzard announced Diablo 2 Resurrected which is supposedly going to be a remake of the iconic RPG game of the 2000’s. This announcement came as a very positive news for the fans who had been waiting for a remastered version for ages. Diablo 2 is hands-down one of the most popular video games of all times and it has millions of fans around the world. Naturally, it was almost a given that fans would be excited when Diablo 2 Resurrected would be announced. Diablo 2 Resurrected is still a couple of months away and it is expected to arrive by the end of 2021 but still fans are quite excited for the launch. It is expected that the Diablo 2 Resurrected will be quite faithful to the original but it won’t have any date 2D graphics. The Diablo 2 Resurrected is expected to have an entirely modern visual overhaul and it is expected to be a very good overall product because the company behind the remastered version has had plenty of success in the past couple of years by remastering some very popular games. But the new Diablo 2 Resurrected version won’t really have the same graphics because visuals have come a very long way in the past two decades. Diablo 3 was criticized for having visuals that appeared cartoonish but it is expected that things will be different with Diablo 2 Resurrected as the makers have guaranteed that the graphical fidelity of the game won’t be sacrificed in anyway whatsoever. From what is currently known about the Diablo 2 Resurrected version is that it will designed on top of the existing 2.5D isometric grid that is present in the game. This time around things will be different because the game is expected to have real 3D assets.

It is expected to be on all the major consoles :- It was announced earlier in the year at Blizzconline 2021, that Diablo 2 Resurrected will be released on all of the major consoles in existence today and that means everything right from the PS5 to the Xbox to the Nintendo switch and even on the PC via Battle.Net. On top of that, it is also widely accepted that the remastered version will be released on Xbox One and PS4 consoles as well. The Diablo franchise games have been released on consoles in the past but this time is expected that the controls on the consoles will be much more user-friendly for the benefit of all the players.

There will be cross progression :- While it was learnt that Diablo 2 Resurrected would be released on all the major fans, fans were immediately intrigued to know if cross-progression would be available between the consoles. Cross progression means that the player has the chance to continue with the same character regardless of the system he or she might be playing on. It was confirmed earlier in the year that this cross-progression feature will be present in Diablo 2 Resurrected which made it possible for people to play as the same character on different consoles even whilst they were traveling.

Even in the days of Diablo and Diablo 2, it was very possible for players to play with other plays through a direct IP connection. It was always a very well-known fact multiplayer would be a very prominent feature in the remastered version.
