Real Horror- Bhangarh

The Bhangarh Fort is considered one of the spookiest places on earth, so much so that even the Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) has put up a notice prohibiting any tourist entry from 6 pm-6 am.

Legend has it that a certain Tantrik Singhia was enamoured by Princess Ratnavti and wanted to win her. He even tried to use magic to bring her under his control, but somehow, the Princess knew of his evil plan. She ordered them to kill him; however, before dying, he cursed all the fort residents to die and that no villager will have a roof over their head. A lot of villages in the city are roofless to this day. Even when someone builds a shelter, it collapses eventually.

The Mysterious affair at Savoy Hotel, Mussoorie

If you are an Agatha Christie fan, you might have heard of the murder mystery novel “The Mysterious Affair at Styles”. Guess what the original inspiration was? History states that Lady Garnet Orme was murdered by strychnine poisoning in this very hotel at Mussoorie. Since then, her ghost was believed to haunt this hotel. Years later, her doctor was also found dead under similar circumstances. Now, how do you explain that?

The Friendly ghost of Shimla

This is one tragic episode of pre-Independence India. Captain Barog, a British engineer, was responsible for building Tunnel No 33 on the Kalka-Shimla train route. But for some personal reasons, he was unable to complete it. The British fined him, and as a result, he committed suicide out of guilt and embarrassment. Many people have reported seeing his spirit roam around in the tunnel and have friendly conversations with passengers. Some have also reported seeing a woman screaming and running into the tunnel.
