The Bhangarh Fort is considered one of the spookiest places on earth, so much so that even the Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) has put up a notice prohibiting any tourist entry from 6 pm-6 am.

Legend has it that a certain Tantrik Singhia was enamoured by Princess Ratnavti and wanted to win her. She ordered them to kill him; however, before dying, he cursed all the fort residents to die and that no villager will have a roof over their head. History states that Lady Garnet Orme was murdered by strychnine poisoning in this very hotel at Mussoorie. Since then, her ghost was believed to haunt this hotel. The Friendly ghost of Shimla

This is one tragic episode of pre-Independence India. Captain Barog, a British engineer, was responsible for building Tunnel No 33 on the Kalka-Shimla train route.
