The company offers a variety of financial services, including electronic tax filing, prepaid debit cards, credit lines, and refund advance transfers. Its name has become a trusted name among millions of consumers.

However, there is a new player in the financial services industry. Earlier this year, Square, a technology company led by Twitter co-founder Jack SquareMcsweeney TheBlock Dorsey, purchased Credit Karma Tax. Previously, Square had been known as Block.

H&R Block is represented by Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. They claim that Intuit’s campaign, which launched earlier this year, has been confusing customers and causing damage to the reputation of H&R Block.

Although the case is currently in court, H&R Block has won a preliminary injunction against Block Inc. This injunction will remain in effect until the litigation is resolved.
